Mechanical Assembler

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

· Assemble pieces on a manual assembly line to make non-technical products

· Inspect in process products and parts

· Pack completed products

· Run second op jobs using a drill press, punch press or milling machine

· Perform Quality Checks

· Other duties as assigned/required

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

· High School education or GED is required

· Dexterity and good motor skills

· Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude is required

· Must be a team player

· High commitment to quality

· Must be comfortable using various hand tools, including cordless drills and electric drills

· Must be able to move 30 lbs

· 1 year experience in a assembly environment

· Able to meet deadlines

· Able to withstand moderate amounts of stress
