About
Ultimate Leadership Martial Arts has been helping families grow stronger since 1999. We offer age-specific martial arts programs for children beginning at age 4, elementary and middle school students, teens and adults.
Our goal goes far beyond teaching kicks, punches and self-defense. ULMA uses martial arts as a vehicle to help students develop confidence, discipline, focus, perseverance, leadership skills, physical fitness and the ability to overcome challenges.
One of the things that makes Ultimate Leadership Martial Arts unique is our family-focused approach. Parents and children can train together, allowing families to share an activity while each person works toward their own individual goals.
In addition to regular martial arts classes, ULMA offers leadership and instructor development opportunities, summer camps, special events, martial arts demonstrations and community programs.
Founded by Michael Mershad, who has more than 35 years of martial arts experience and over three decades of teaching experience, Ultimate Leadership Martial Arts is committed to providing a positive, encouraging environment where students can grow physically, mentally and socially.
